In the Adirondack Mountains, WOMAN IN THE WOODS takes place between 1912 and the present.
In 1912, a widow’s daughter is found murdered. While the sheriff is investigating the crime, the mother commits suicide. Soon after, those responsible for the girl’s death are haunted and then killed by a ghost.
In the present, Jeremy’s parents were involved in what looked like a murder/suicide. Having witnessed the gruesome deaths, and unable to verbalize what he saw or who was responsible, Jeremy grew up at an institution. At eighteen he returned home to live with his uncle.
As Jeremy re-acclimated himself at “home,” he began remembering what happened the night his parents were killed.
